Dawn of the Wolf

Aurora struggles to be a normal teenage girl, which is a bit hard to do when you’re anything but a normal girl. She is half wolf on her father’s side but does not have the power to shift. She does, though, have the strength of a normal werewolf, while her healing ability is a bit slower than others. After her mother rescues her from her father’s abuse in the Philippines, they move to a small town in Tennessee where Aurora tries her best to lead a normal life with little drama. But she finds that’s not easy to do when you’re the daughter of an insane and overprotective Alpha.

At this point werewolf and vampire novels are becoming increasingly too main streamed and over capitalized on. As time goes on, the bar gets set lower and lower for quality publications. This book circumceeds that and then some. It's as if the author read Blood and Chocolate, and then decided it wasn't suspenseful or gritty enough...

I absolutely love this so far-- so interesting and unpredictable! The character of Aurora is very well developed and the constant flashbacks of her past only make her seem stronger. What an amazing girl. Can't wait to read what happens to her as a wolf! It's easy to see that this story is going to go far-- perhaps a series? This book is fantastic.
